Wayne Rooney has now claimed that one Manchester United manager was more tactically astute than Sir Alex Ferguson in the past. Rooney, who made 559 appearances for Man United, scoring 253 goals, actually played under five different managers at Old Trafford. Sir Alex Ferguson was his boss for the longest period, but he also played under David Moyes, Ryan Giggs, Louis van Gaal and Jose Mourinho.
