A girl suffered “puncture wounds” to her finger when she was bitten by a dog outside a shop. The small dog was tethered near the door to the store in Tankerton Road, Whitstable, when it attacked her at about 5pm on Tuesday, January 23. Police have since been carrying out enquiries and are now looking for a man in the area who may be able to assist.
