By Nathan Ridley Bordeaux winger Alberth Elis has been placed in an induced coma after being involved in a sickening head collision, according to reports in France. Elis, 28, suffered a blow to the head just 34 seconds into Bordeaux’s Ligue 2 clash with Guingamp on Saturday. The Honduras international clashed with Guingamp defender Donatien Gomis and players from both teams were visibly distressed while the match was paused for eight minutes as Elis received treatment.
