Israeli soldiers shot dead three armed Palestinians in the occupied West Bank on Tuesday, including a local commander of the Islamic Jihad militant organization, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and the Palestinian Health Ministry said. Both confirmed the deaths of the three men, aged between 26 and 32, during an operation in the area of the village of Tubas in the north of the West Bank.
