A hunter stumbled upon a human skull in a New Jersey forest late last week, sending investigators to work on identifying the remains. The skull was found in the Brendan T. Byrne State Forest in Manchester Township on Feb. 23, according to New Jersey State Police. Troopers responded to an area off Route 70 around 7 p.m. after the discovery was made, State Police Detective Jeffrey Lebron said Tuesday.
