The mood in China’s manufacturing industry remains poor. In February, the Purchasing Managers’ Index (PMI) fell to 49.1 points, down 0.1 points on the previous month, according to the statistics office in Beijing on Friday. The index, which is an important indicator for analysts and decision-makers, thus remained below 50 points for the fifth month in a row.
