Her husband, understood to be Irish, is said to have sought help after finding her unconscious. Emergency responders including police rushed to the unnamed hotel in Creel in the state of Chihuahua but were unable to do anything to save her. Local press described the dead woman as a 75-year-old and said her husband was 79. A translator is said to have assisted police at the scene.
