Switzerland’s Marco Odermatt edged to an 11th straight giant slalom success to clinch a third straight World Cup title in the discipline on Friday in Colorado. Odermatt led after the first run in Aspen but then trailed countryman Loic Meillard at the final split of the second following several mistakes, only to escape through the final gates to prevail by .14 of a second.
