Three families were displaced from their homes after a fire destroyed a set of residences in Atlantic County late last week. The fire happened in the 200 block of Liverpool Avenue in Egg Harbor City on Friday, local police said Tuesday. The blaze was reported around 9:30 a.m. The fire started at one home and jumped to two others, leading to a response from the American Red Cross to assist those left without living space, police said.
