A MOTORIST was caught behind the wheel after drinking more than twice the legal limit. Mason Farrelly appeared in the dock at Reading Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, January 23. The 19-year-old, of The Mount, Highclere, admitted driving a Ford Fiesta on the A339 in Greenham on Friday, January 5, after drinking more than the legal limit. Tests showed 76mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath in his system. The legal limit is 35mcg. Mr Farrelly, who was legally represented at the hearing by Robert Slinn, was fined £120.
