By Charlie Jones A Lufthansa flight has been forced to land after a broken coffee machine started spewing smoke into the cabin. The Airbus A319 from Frankfurt bound for Gothenburg (Sweden) had to make an emergency landing at Hamburg Airport. According to the company, there was a “short-term local smoke development in the front galley”. The cockpit crew then “declared an air emergency in accordance with the specified procedures” in order to get a “prioritized landing” in Hamburg.
