A 32-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of kidnap in Saffron Walden. The force was called to the High Street at around 10.30am on Monday, March 11. A member of the public reported a man being assaulted before being taken into a vehicle and driven away. Officers quickly identified the suspect, and located and stopped the vehicle used in the incident. The male was also arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a Class A drug.
