A free pop-up event has been hosted to help educate, advise and enforce responsible dog ownership. Newark and Sherwood District Council hosted the event at Sconce and Devon Park at the end of last week. The park has recently had reported issues of dog fouling, in particular on the new outdoor fitness zone, and in order to tackle this the council has arranged events encouraging responsible dog ownership and have increased patrols around the site to deter and identify offenders.
