German trade union Verdi and employers of private aviation security providers have agreed on arbitration in the wage dispute affecting about 25,000 employees. The process, led by former Bremen state councillor Hans-Henning Lühr, is to begin on Friday, April 5 and end on Sunday, April 7 at the latest, the union and the employers’ association BDLS announced. The recommendation is not binding for either side. Verdi may not call a strike until the end of the process.
