Danish rider Mads Pedersen and Eritrea’s Biniam Girmay should be fit to compete in the upcoming Tour of Flanders cycling race after not suffering serious injuries in a mass crash on Wednesday in another race in Belgium. Pedersen’s team Lidl-trek said on Thursday that he suffered bruises in the crash during the Across Flanders semi classic and was forced to retire.
