By Monica Charsley An inmate has been stabbed in the face following a confrontation with another prisoner in Manchester. According to reports the prisoner suffered only ‘superficial facial injuries’ and did not require transfer to hospital, according to bosses at the privately-run jail. The attack is said to have taken place at Forest Bank prison in Salford on Thursday night. A spokesperson for the prison said: “We can confirm that an incident took place between two prisoners on Thursday evening.
