Early caution at Texas Motor Speedway. Thad Moffitt got up out of the groove and before you knew it, multi-truck incident. Moffitt continues to have a tough NASCAR season. Richard Petty’s grandson has not had a great go of things this season. This is the latest example. Something was off with his truck as he got up into the high groove on the 1.5-mile track. Coming out of Turn 2 on Lap 2, Thad Moffitt came down the track to avoid getting into the wall, but his truck wouldn’t turn. Then, it caught grip andhe drove it into traffic.
