Several events in the sport of cycling were cancelled over the weekend due to poor weather. Isabel Darvill of the UCI Continental Team, Doltcini-O`Shea competed last Wednesday in the fourth Scheldeprijs Elite Women`s Race in Belgium. She was well placed in the main Pelton for most of the 130km race but was again involved in a large crash 4km from the finish line. Darvill managed to regain her composure and chased the Leaders to finish in 77th place, only 32 seconds behind the winner, world tour rider, Lorena Weibers of the powerful Team SD Works-Protime.
