Two men have been charged after significant damage was made to a school roof in a reported attempt to steal lead. On October 27, police were called to the premises in Luton Road, Chatham, after those living nearby heard “suspicious” sounds coming from the building. Officers attended as well as a police helicopter and two men were located and detained. They were later bailed pending further inquiries.
