A quirky living museum that depicts life on the home front during the Second World War is closing down. The Old Forge Wartime House in East Street, Sittingbourne will open its doors to the public for the last time on Saturday, April 27. The attraction features re-enactors in costume who describe what life was like during the war and it is packed with artefacts such as radios, teapots and other memorabilia.
