Residents and staff at a Woolton Hill care home donned several colourful and vibrant hats to raise awareness for brain tumours. Enbridge House Care Home organised the fundraising event on March 22 and managed to raise £250 for Brain Tumour Research. The date was chosen because it was the care home’s owners, Mandy Plumb and Karen Bolt-Lawrence, father’s birthday. He died from a brain tumour.
