An intruder claimed to be a police officer when he was discovered by an elderly homeowner. The 90-year-old woman, of Eridge Road, Tunbridge Wells, had been in her front garden when she went back inside and heard someone upstairs. When confronted, it was alleged the man claimed he was a police officer before leaving empty-handed. It happened at 5pm on Thursday, April 11. Police want help to identify the suspect and are asking for doorbell footage or CCTV that may help in their inquiries.
