The 240-metre-high television tower in the embattled eastern Ukrainian city of Kharkiv has been severely damaged in an apparent Russian attack. Videos posted on social networks on Monday showed the top of the tower plummeting to the ground with smoke rising in the background. Regional Governor Oleh Syniehubov confirmed that a “television infrastructure object” had been hit and the signal disrupted. No one was killed or injured, he said.
