The Jigawa State House of Assembly has constituted an ad hoc committee to scrutinise the state’s electoral and local government laws. This followed a motion by Abubakar Kallo (who represents Hadejia Constituency), in response to a report by the House Committee on Local Government regarding a communiqué from the Inter-Party Advisory Council, IPAC.
