Everton were simply outstanding against Brentford, as they made light work of Thomas Frank’s side to preserve their top-flight status. Defensively flawless and good enough offensively to grab the crucial winner, it was Idrissa Gana Gueye’s 60th-minute scorcher from just inside the box that once again secured all three points for the Toffees.
