The failure to secure any electric vehicle charging points in Sawbridgeworth was described as a disgrace by a town councillor. A full meeting of Sawbridgeworth Town Council on Monday heard Cllr Annelise Furnace reveal she had “chased” both Hertfordshire County Council and East Herts Council on plans for the EV points in Bell Street car park, but there was still no sign of them being installed.
