Firefighters from Suffolk and Norfolk battled a large blaze at a building in a village for more than three hours last night. Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service was alerted just before 6pm to the incident at a single storey industrial building, in Hobbies Lane, Mendlesham. The building was fully ablaze and the fire was approximately 50 metres x 10 metres. Ten crews were dispatched including one from Diss, one from Harleston, two from Ipswich East, one from Princes Street, one from Leiston, one from Debenham, one from Needham Market, one from Stowmarket and one from Elmswell.
