Plans for an Ollerton care home for more than 100 elderly people will go before councillors next week after concerns over parking. The plan for part of the Sherwood Energy Village is recommended for approval by Newark and Sherwood District Council officers. It would provide 105 en-suite bedrooms of various sizes off Darwin Drive, and create ten new jobs. But Ollerton Town Council says the proposed 15 parking spaces would be “insufficient and inappropriate” for the number of visitors and staff.
