POCO’s F6 series is expected to consist of standard and professional variants. Both phones have begun collecting certificates, hinting at their imminent arrival. Following the recent appearance of the POCO F6 on Geekbench, the more premium F6 Pro variant has also been spotted on the benchmarking platform. The upcoming offering has already passed FCC and NBTC certification in the past. Read on to find out what the Geekbench database shows.
POCO F6 Pro is registered on the Geekbench benchmarking platform under the model number 23113RKC6G. It mentions a motherboard codenamed “kalama” and the configuration consists of three cores clocked at 2.02 GHz, four cores clocked at 2.80 GHz, and a senior core clocked at 3.19 GHz. This indicates that the device will run on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. According to the benchmark database, the POCO F6 Pro will be equipped with a huge 16GB RAM and we can expect more options at launch. The smartphone will come pre-installed with Android 14 out of the box.
In the single-core and multi-core Geekbench tests, POCO F6 Pro scored 1,421 and 5,166 points, respectively. The benchmark database does not disclose any additional details.
According to the FCC, POCO F6 Pro will be powered by a 4880 mAh battery. The Android 14 operating system will be covered by the HyperOS shell on top. The F6 Pro model numbers suggest that this could be a rebranding of the Redmi K70 from China, as they are the same except for the last letter – “G” and “C”, which stand for global and Chinese, respectively. The Redmi K70 has a 2K OLED display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a peak brightness of 4,000 nits, a 5000 mAh battery with 120 W fast charging, and a 50 megapixel triple rear camera.
