Tipster Digital Chat Station shared some information about the upcoming flagship of Xiaomi, which is expected to be Xiaomi 15 Pro.

According to an early prototype, the phone will feature a 2K micro-curved screen. He did not disclose the screen size, but noted that it would not be much different from its predecessor.

Speaking of the back panel, the square camera module will be placed in the upper left corner. The design of the module has reportedly been finalized. Inside the module, there will be a triple camera setup for the back, which includes a 50-megapixel primary camera as well as a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera that also boasts macro capabilities. The main camera also reportedly offers a larger aperture compared to the Xiaomi 14 Pro.

Speaking of the processor, the Xiaomi 15 series may be the first to receive Qualcomm’s next flagship chip, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4. It is expected to arrive around the beginning of October. It is reported that the new chip could provide a huge jump in performance compared to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. The successor is said to boast Qualcomm’s own processor cores with a different arrangement. It may offer two large cores along with six medium cores, and will be manufactured on TSMC’s 3nm process. According to the source, the clock frequency of the two large cores will be in the range of 3.6 GHz to 4.0 GHz.

There is little information about the Xiaomi 15 series at the moment. Based on what we do know, the main updates to the successor could be a new chip, improved fingerprint unlocking, and improved image processing capabilities. In terms of design, the basic Xiaomi 15 may once again get a flat screen similar to the last two generations.
