By Anders Anglesey Experts have issued a stark warning as the number of whooping cough deaths continues to rise, adding the UK could face the worst outbreak in 40 years. The doctors shared their grim warning following reports that five young babies have died from the bacterial infection, also known as pertussis, this year. Since 2012, eight out of 10 pertussis deaths have been in babies who were born to unvaccinated mothers.
