A town’s market place is set to be spruced up after residents raised concerns about graffiti and unsightly stalls. Southwell Town Council’s Town Environment Committee supported the Market Working Group’s plan to improve the look of the Market Square. After recent issues with graffiti on the stall’s wooden table tops resulted in patches being painted over, it was suggested that the entirety of the boards should be painted.
