A Thatcham teacher has received a Lifetime Achievement Award after half a century of supporting pupils to reach their potential. Sue Dillon has been a cornerstone of the Parsons Down School community since first stepping into a classroom in the 1970s. As the proud record holder of the ‘Longest Serving Contracted Teacher in West Berkshire’, she has taught generations of children over her dedicated career — including this reporter.
