Production of the iPhone 16 is expected to begin in June, according to a new report by analyst Ross Young. This coincides with Apple‘s usual production schedule for its flagship smartphones, which is expected to be released in mid-September.
Ross Young also predicted that the iPhone 16 and 16 Pro will become market leaders
Young also offers insight into the potential sales figures for the iPhone 16 line. He predicts that the iPhone 16 and 16 Pro will be the top sellers initially, while demand for the Plus models (16 Plus and 16 Pro Max) may be slower at first. However, Yang suggests that this could change next summer as users will favor the longer battery life typically associated with larger phones.
These predictions came along with previously leaked photos of the iPhone 16 series models, which sparked a discussion around the return of the vertical camera design in the iPhone 16 and 16 Plus, reminiscent of the iPhone X era.
The iPhone 16 Pro Max, located on the far left of the leaked images, looks to be the largest with a 6.9-inch display that is rumored to surpass the 6.7-inch display of the current iPhone 15 Pro Max.
