A father has been left heartbroken after being caught drink-driving following a visit to the pub. Dean Adams, 44, of Maple Road in Downham, appeared at Lynn Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, where he admitted the offence. He committed it on March 31, when police spotted him driving a Volkswagen Caddy van into his home town. When he was pulled over, Adams admitted he had just left the pub and had consumed four pints of Stella Artois.
