A blind Bishop’s Stortford schoolboy is preparing to take the plunge with an epic swim for Bishop’s Stortford Food Bank. Ben Hardy, aged nine, aims to complete 30 lengths of the pool at Bishop’s Stortford College on Tuesday (May 21) and has already generated more than £2,000 in sponsorship for the charity based at the Methodist Church in South Street.
