Record numbers of people turned out to enjoy a sunny family fun day in Newbury. The Newbury Town Council-run Victoria Park Family Day saw hundreds of people enjoy all the free activities on offer in the park. The new mayor of Newbury, Andy Moore, kicked off the fun at noon – and even took to the climbing wall to show everyone how it was done.
