Motorola is preparing to launch a new mid-range smartphone called Moto G85 5G on the global market. Earlier this month, the device was spotted on Geekbench as well as on a European retailer’s website, where some key details and a price were revealed. Now, Tooljunction has published a render of the device.
Renderings show that the Moto G85 has a display with curved edges and thin top and bottom bezels. Unlike its predecessor, the Moto G84 has a flat display. The sides of the G85 are also curved, and the back features a dual camera setup on a single uni-body body. There is also a flash module on the back. In addition, the camera notch says 50MP + OIS, which confirms the presence of a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilization.
Moving on to the specs, previous reports indicate that the Moto G85 will be powered by an unannounced Qualcomm processor that features an Adreno 619 GPU. The Adreno 619 GPU is present in the Snapdragon 695 and Snapdragon 480. Geekbench has shown that this new processor has a base clock speed of 2.02 GHz and a peak clock speed of 2.30 GHz. We expect this to be the Snapdragon 4 Gen 3.
The device will have an 8GB RAM model as well as a 12GB RAM model with a 256GB storage, which is expected to cost 300 euros. More details are expected soon, so stay tuned.
