A 33-year-old man is fighting for his life in hospital after a collision near Sawston over the bank holiday weekend. The man was cycling southbound on the A1301 when he was involved in a collision with a grey Citroen DS3 coming in the opposite direction at just after 7pm yesterday (Monday, 27 May). The man from Sawston was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge, with life-threatening injuries and is still in a critical condition.
