A suspect accused of flashing next to a town centre’s historic war relic has been arrested. The 32-year-old is said to have exposed himself at 2am in New Street, Ashford, near the First World War tank stationed under a canopy, at about 2am on May 26. Officers carried out enquiries in the area and arrested the suspect who comes from Ashford. He has been released on bail pending further enquiries. Officers are now appealing for witnesses to come forward.
