A cathedral is set to mark the 80th anniversary of D-Day with a special service. Southwell Minster will host the commemorative Evensong on Sunday, June 2, at 3.30pm. It will also be live streamed online for those wishing to watch from home. Representatives of The Royal British Legion, the Lord-Lieutenant of Nottinghamshire Veronica Pickering, and number of other civic guests will also attend the service.
