Green Party candidates and activists from across the East of England gathered in a town yesterday to launch the party’s General Election campaign for the region. The election hopefuls gathered in Diss, led by party leader Adrian Ramsay, who himself will fight in the newly created Waveney Valley seat. The Greens have had success in the area in recent years, taking full control of Mid Suffolk District Council and leading East Suffolk Council in conjunction with the Liberal Democrats.
