The wives and mothers of Russian troops fighting in Ukraine demonstrated for their return home outside the Defence Ministry in Moscow, posting their protest on social media. The group of almost two dozen women, some with small children, held up placards reading: “It’s time for those called up to return home” and “Please bring dad home,” the photos and videos posted showed.
