A boy was assaulted in an attempted robbery on a footpath behind a fire station. Police say they received a third-party report at 6.45pm on Monday that three teenagers had attacked the victim in Ashford and attempted to take a bag from him. The incident happened behind the town’s fire station on a path in Queen Mother’s Park between Mace Lane and Heathfield Road.
