An inscription reading “DIU,” (Defense Intelligence Directorate) which stands for the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense, has appeared on a monument to Soviet Marshal Georgy Zhukov in Moscow’s Manezhnaya Square, according to RIA Novosti, Baza, and Astra. The inscription appeared on the monument on Monday evening, June 3. It was allegedly made by two nurses – 55-year-old Vera Nikolaeva and 28-year-old Anastasia Lysenko.
