Ahead of the upcoming worldwide launch of the Vivo V40 series, 91mobiles exclusively brings you renders and specifications of the European model of the phone, courtesy of informant Sudhanshu Ambhore. It reveals the full design of the phone even before the official announcement. The Vivo V40 series seems to be on the verge of launching, given the constant leaks in recent times. It will replace the Vivo V30 lineup, which debuted in the country earlier this year.
First look at Vivo V40
- According to the rendering shared by Sudhanshu, the Vivo V40 looks nothing like the Vivo V30.
- We get a premium design with curved edges on the front panel, narrow bezels around the screen, and a centered selfie camera notch.
- The volume control and power buttons are located on the right side.
- Turning the phone on its back, you will see a large oval-shaped module, inside which there is a round module for placing dual-sensor
- cameras, as well as the Zeiss logo.
- Another oval-shaped module below the camera contains the smart Aura backlight and another notch that appears to be a sensor, but the details remain a mystery at the moment.
- The rendering shows Vivo V40 in purple and gray/silver colors.
Vivo V40 specifications: here are the updates
In addition to the renders, we also bring you the key hardware specifications of the Vivo V40.
- According to the source, Vivo V40 will have a 6.78-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a resolution of 2400X1080 pixels. This is the same size as its predecessor.
- The phone can be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3, which is again similar to the Vivo V30. The chipset can be paired with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage.
- Vivo V40 is expected to feature a 50MP main camera and a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens. The front of the phone may feature a 50-megapixel selfie camera. Interestingly, the camera setup is again similar to its predecessor.
- The Vivo phone is likely to feature a 5500 mAh battery with 80W fast charging support. The battery capacity has increased slightly compared to the 5000 mAh of the Vivo V30.
- Connectivity options include dual SIM, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, GPS, and a USB Type-C port for charging.
- Vivo’s phone is expected to run Android 14 out of the box and be IP68 water and dust resistant. That’s more than the Vivo V30, which is only IP54.
