A homeless charity hopes to create the “ultimate second-hand thrifting experience” with what’s believed to be Kent’s largest secondhand clothing shop. Gillingham Street Angels welcomed its first customers into the pre-loved clothing emporium in Chatham High Street today (June 7). The new two-level store aims to offer “sustainable shopping for all at unbeatable prices” and promises to be “an absolute treasure trove of amazing items,” featuring everything from basic items for just £1 to vintage, bridal and prom wear at affordable prices.
