Google subsidiary Waymo for autonomous taxis and deliveries on Wednesday said that it would update the software of its entire fleet after one of its unoccupied driverless vehicles crashed into a telephone post in May. A Waymo spokeswoman said that the software update had been reported to the US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) as a voluntary recall.
