Former women’s world No. 1 Naomi Osaka, and former men’s world No. 4 Kei Nishikori will be eligible to compete for Japan at this summer’s Paris Olympics despite their low current rankings, the Japan Tennis Association announced Thursday. The JTA said it received word of the two players’ status from the International Tennis Federation.
