The majority of people we spoke to revealed to avoid going to the Newark town centre during the evening due to anti-social behaviour, mainly caused by youngsters. At a recent anti-social behaviour summit, Nottinghamshire Police inspector and district commander for Newark and Sherwood, Charlotte Ellam, revealed that the district has seen a 9% reduction in all crime over the last financial year.
